The Ultimate Banana Bread: Chef in Disguise
The other featured recipe for today comes from Group A blogger, Sawsan of Chef in Disguise, who made The Ultimate Banana Bread from her assigned blog, A Taste of Madness. To me, there are never enough banana bread recipes to hoard. I have made plenty of great ones. Keepers, if you will. But that does NOT stop me from hoarding more to make!
Sawsan had this to say about her recipe:
"Cathleen describes the recipe as her family’s tried and true banana bread recipe. If I have learnt anything in the food blogging world, it would be that a recipe that has been in a family for years is one that you definitely don’t want to miss and this recipe did not disappoint!"

Banana Blondies: Get Off The Couch and Cook
Today's featured recipe comes from Group C blogger, Sashi of Get Off The Couch and Cook, who made Banana Blondies from her assigned blog, Cook With Sara. I find myself pinning so many banana recipes and the funny thing is that I don't like the texture of them...but I love banana treats - banana bread, banana muffins, banana pudding, banana cake - so I say bring on the banana blondies!!
Sashi had this to say about her recipe:
"I was nice, though, and brought one to work for Ms. B who sits in the cube directly across from me because her love of banana surpasses even mine. But I only brought her one. ;)"

Power Sunrise Smoothie: Pretty PolyMath
One of today's featured recipes comes from Group C. Hetal of Pretty PolyMath made Power Sunrise Smoothie from her assigned blog, The Savvy Kitchen. I do apologize for my lateness of posting all Group C's features. I realized last night that it was Thursday and I hadn't posted one thing! So here we go! Every time I see a picture of a smoothie, I think about how I don't make smoothies enough. I have a picky fruit eater and one way he will eat fruits is through smoothies. This one looks fabulous and it is vegan-friendly and dairy-free!
Hetal had this to say about her recipe:
"It only takes 5 minutes to make and makes the perfect energy boosting breakfast. Give it a try!"

Banana Bread Crumb Cake: Inquiring Chef
Today's featured recipe comes from Group A. Jess of Inquiring Chef made Banana Bread Crumb Cake from her assigned blog, Ilona's Kitchen. This cake looks unbelievable - I just love Jess' picture of it with the frosting going on. :)
Jess had this to say about her recipe:
"This cake is slightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. I used buttermilk in the banana bread instead of milk which is an adaptation from my favorite banana bread of all time – it gives the bread a bit of tang and helps it to stay tender and delicious for days in the fridge."
