Today's featured recipe comes from Group D blogger, Wendy of A Day in the Life on the Farm, who made Homemade Hostess Cupcakes from her assigned blog, The Fearless Homemaker. If you've never made homemade Hostess cupcakes - you must!
Wendy had this to say about her recipe:
"These cupcakes were delicious and a huge hit with my guests. While they
are time intensive and a lot of steps they are relatively easy and can
be made ahead of time."

Snow Topped Brownies: Casa Costello
Today's featured recipe comes from Group C blogger, Helen of Casa Costello, who made Snow Topped Brownies from her assigned blog, The Avid Appetite. Perfect for the colder weather that is upon us, these little brownies have marshmallows on top that look like snow!
Helen had this to say about her recipe:
"My kids have been going wild for these brownies – even before they were in the oven. There’s something about Brownies that makes people go ‘mmmm’."

Cornflake Marshmallow Cookies: From Grandma Loy's Kitchen
Today's featured recipe comes from Group B. Loy of From Grandma Loy's Kitchen made Cornflake Marshmallow Cookies from her assigned blog, Sarah's Kitchen. I have made chocolate chip cornflake cookies (for any Joanne Fluke fans - from her Hannah Swensen series books!) and they are fascinatingly delicious. I like that this has a recipe to make a "crunch" from the cornflakes (almost like a streusel) that is added to the cookies. Plus marshmallows are always a good addition :)
Loy had this to say about her recipe:
"These are very BIG crispy, crunchy somewhat delicate cookies. I suggest that they be served with a napkin to catch the crumbs. They will certainly satisfy any cookie cravings you might be having."

Magic Triangles: Jessie Weaver
Today's featured recipe comes from Group A. Jessie of Jessie Weaver, the Vanderbilt Wife made Magic Triangles from her assigned blog, Adventures in All Things Food. I love the smorgasbord type cookies/bars - you just throw whatever you have in your baking cabinet in and it turns out like heaven!
Jessie had this to say about her recipe:
"They are easy to customize with what you have. I didn’t have as many mini-marshmallows as I thought I did, so I threw some little caramel pieces on and they added a great chewy factor. I used a mix of dark and white chocolate chips, omitted nuts, and only put coconut on half since my husband doesn’t like it. I was wishing I had put some nuts on top, though, because I think the sweet-salty factor would really put these over the top! (Pretzels might work, too. YUMMM!)"
