Today's featured recipe comes from Group C blogger, Susan of My Wholefood Family, who made Chocolate Pecan Pie from her assigned blog, The Avid Appetite. I am not a huge fan of pie, especially pecan pie, but I love to make pecan pie for holidays because everyone else in the family LOVES it. I would love to try this recipe out from Susan - wouldn't you?!
Susan had this to say about her recipe:
"We LOVED this. Perfectly short pastry, sweet nutty filling with little pops of dark chocolate. What's not to love?"

Crock Pot Boston Baked Beans: Life on Food
Today's featured recipe comes from Group D blogger, Emily of Life on Food, who made Crock Pot Boston Baked Beans from her assigned blog, Lavender and Lovage. Baked beans are one of my all-time favorite side dishes and I've been known to eat baked beans and hot dogs for lunch when the craving arises. I love that this recipe is from scratch PLUS has molasses in it :)
Emily had this to say about her recipe:
"Brown on brown is never great to photograph so don't let the pictures fool you. This is a really great recipe. Not quite Mimi's but close and that is saying a lot."

Outback Bread: Jessie Weaver, The Vanderbilt Wife
Today's featured recipe comes from Group B. Jessie of Jessie Weaver, The Vanderbilt Wife made Outback Bread from her assigned blog, Morsels of Life. I have never been to Outback, but I'm kind of sold on this bread - it looks great! And the nooks...that is my favorite part of English muffins, so I'm sure I'd love this bread.
Jessie had this to say about her recipe:
"It’s a lovely flavor, with the honey and molasses and touch of cocoa, with lots of craggy nooks to sop up butter and jam."
