Today's featured recipe comes from Group A blogger, Susan of The Wimpy Vegetarian, who made Pumpkin Applesauce Muffins with Pumpkin Seed Streusel from a blog she adopted, Karen's Kitchen Stories.
Susan had this to say about her recipe:
"I like the fact these muffins aren’t overwhelmingly sweet, have just the
right balance of fall spices, and gives a whisper of apple mixed in
with the pumpkin. I wanted a streusel topping, so I took Karen’s
streusel recipe from her Cream Cheese Filled Whole Wheat Pumpkin Muffins, and it was perfect. The only change I made was to add some salted pumpkin seeds to the topping."

Crockpot Barbacoa Beef: Cook with Sara
Today's featured recipe comes from Group C blogger, Sara from Cook with Sara, who made Crockpot Barbacoa Beef from her assigned blog, Dessert Before Dinner.
Sara had this to say about her recipe:
"The best part? It cooks up in the crock pot all day, and then it only takes a few minutes to heat up tortillas, make guacamole, cut up tomatoes, and assemble all the other fixings your family loves on tacos (especially homemade salsa!). This beef is obviously very flexible too - instead of tacos, you could make burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, salads, even a great sandwich!"

Sour Cream Orange Chocolate Chip Muffins: The Heritage Cook
Today's featured recipe comes from Group C blogger, Jane of The Heritage Cook, who made Sour Cream Orange Chocolate Chip Muffins from her assigned blog, Our Eating Habits. I am not the biggest fan of orange, but it really is fabulous when paired with chocolate...I think I'd eat just about anything paired with chocolate! Bonus: these muffins are gluten free!
Jane had this to say about her recipe:
"And because I love orange and chocolate so much, I just couldn’t resist … I added an orange glaze to take these truly over the top. Oh baby, are you going to love these beauties!!"

Power Sunrise Smoothie: Pretty PolyMath
One of today's featured recipes comes from Group C. Hetal of Pretty PolyMath made Power Sunrise Smoothie from her assigned blog, The Savvy Kitchen. I do apologize for my lateness of posting all Group C's features. I realized last night that it was Thursday and I hadn't posted one thing! So here we go! Every time I see a picture of a smoothie, I think about how I don't make smoothies enough. I have a picky fruit eater and one way he will eat fruits is through smoothies. This one looks fabulous and it is vegan-friendly and dairy-free!
Hetal had this to say about her recipe:
"It only takes 5 minutes to make and makes the perfect energy boosting breakfast. Give it a try!"
