Cornflake Marshmallow Cookies: From Grandma Loy's Kitchen
Today's featured recipe comes from Group B. Loy of From Grandma Loy's Kitchen made Cornflake Marshmallow Cookies from her assigned blog, Sarah's Kitchen. I have made chocolate chip cornflake cookies (for any Joanne Fluke fans - from her Hannah Swensen series books!) and they are fascinatingly delicious. I like that this has a recipe to make a "crunch" from the cornflakes (almost like a streusel) that is added to the cookies. Plus marshmallows are always a good addition :)
Loy had this to say about her recipe:
"These are very BIG crispy, crunchy somewhat delicate cookies. I suggest that they be served with a napkin to catch the crumbs. They will certainly satisfy any cookie cravings you might be having."

Chocolate Coconut Fudgsicles: Pale Yellow
Today's featured recipe comes from Group B. Tracy of Pale Yellow made Chocolate Coconut Fudgsicles from her assigned blog, Cheese Curds in Paradise. When my mom was pregnant with me, she once ate an entire box of fudgsicles in one sitting. I fully believe this is why I love chocolate and I also have an enormous love for fudgsicles, which is why I use my self control and buy them sparingly. The thought of making homemade ones makes me VERY happy and excited. They are the perfect treat for summer!
Tracy had this to say about her recipe:
"Delightful for these hot summer days. They are creamy, sweet, and full of chocolate flavor with no weird ingredients. These should definitely go on the must make list!"

Chicken Thighs with Lemon Artichoke Sauce: Lori's Culinary Creations
Today's featured recipe comes from Group A. Lori of Lori's Culinary Creations made Chicken Thighs with Lemon Artichoke Sauce from her assigned blog, Mostly Food and Crafts. What a great little main dish! I think artichokes sometimes get forgotten unless it's spinach dip time and not everyone likes spinach, so they get tossed under the bus with spinach being gross and they are actually really great in texture and taste (although I love spinach too).
Lori had this to say about her recipe:
"This chicken was perfectly cooked and the artichoke topping was incredible."

Simple Apple Pancakes: Daily Dish Recipes
Today's featured recipe comes from Group A. Nicole of Daily Dish Recipes made Simple Apple Pancakes from her assigned blog, Chit Chat Chomp. I think a lot of us get to the point where we look forward to the next season. So now that we're about midway through summer, fall foods are starting to gain appeal, right?
Nicole had this to say about her recipe:
"I did make two additions to her recipe, I replaced the caster sugar with brown sugar and added cinnamon to make it very fall like. I know I’m nuts with the summer heat upon us, but it was a nice little break and they tasted amazing."

Spiralized Zucchini with Pesto, Tomatoes, & Corn: Mother Would Know
Today's featured recipe comes from Group A. Laura from Mother Would Know made Spiralized Zucchini with Pesto, Tomatoes, & Corn from her assigned blog, The Wimpy Vegetarian. I would love love love to have a spiralizer, but I am the worst for getting kitchen gadgets and never using them (I'm talking to you, pasta attachment for my KitchenAid). But on the other hand, zucchini noodles. Let's be honest, that's awesome!
Laura had this to say about her recipe:
"Although I wasn’t intentionally seeking to wean my husband from gluten, his surprise that zucchini could be such a great substitute for spaghetti made me smile. I think our experience will make Susan smile too."
